Big Screen Entertainment Group's "Babysitter Wanted" Held Over in Pacific Northwest
Tuesday, 10 February 2009 06:26
Big Screen Entertainment Group's (PINKSHEETS: BSEG) critically acclaimed horror film "Babysitter Wanted" will be held over for another weekend in the Coming Attractions Theatres chain in the Pacific Northwest.
"Babysitter Wanted" outperformed the weekend's number one movie in America, New Line's "He's Just Not That IntoYou" in Coming Attractions Mt. Shasta theatre as well as the new major release, "Coraline," from Universal and Focus Features' "Milk."
"We are extremely pleased that Coming Attractions has decided to keep the movie on for another weekend. In a marketplace dominated by major studio releases with multimillion dollar marketing campaigns, we are thrilled that 'Babysitter Wanted' performed as well as it did," stated BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates.
"Babysitter Wanted" was filmed on location in Siskiyous County along the California-Oregon border. The film was inspired by the true events of a horrific murder committed in the heartland of America. Screenwriter Jonas Barnes decided to move the story to the Pacific Northwest after spending a lonely night on his family's isolated ranch in Montague, California.
Coming Attractions has 21 first run theaters in the Pacific Northwest. "Babysitter Wanted" is playing at Mt. Shasta Cinemas, Pelican 10 - Klamath Falls and Movies 6 - Grant's Pass.
