Big Screen Entertainment Group to Attend West Coast Edition of Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors Convention

Big Screen Entertainment Group (PINKSHEETS: BSEG) is pleased to announce that CEO Kimberley Kates and Senior VP, Michael Manasseri will be in attendance at the West Coast edition of Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors convention, April 17-19 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Kates produced BSEG's critically acclaimed horror/thriller "Babysitter Wanted," which will have a panel discussion and autograph session at the Fangoria event.

ABC's "Kyle XY" heartthrob Matt Dallas will headline the panel with lead actress Sarah Thompson ("Angel's Eve," "7th Heaven"), Kates and co-directors Michael Manasseri and Jonas Barnes.

"Babysitter Wanted" revolves around a tormented and tortured young girl whose only concern is the safety of herself and the child she is babysitting. Strange events unfold which lead to a tumultuous, surprising climax. Other guests set for Los Angeles' Fango's blowout include: Sam Raimi: director of many films including "Evil Dead," Sony's "Spiderman" trilogies and "Darkman," in addition there will be a preview of Raimi's new film "Drag Me To Hell."

Ron Perlman ("Hellboy," "Sons of Anarchy") will also be in attendance promoting his upcoming Sci-Fi adventure, "The Mutant Chronicles." Perlman is set to star in and produce BSEG's upcoming feature, "Standing Down."

"Babysitter Wanted" is currently available on Pay Per View and continues to perform extremely well domestically on most major PPV and VOD platforms across the country. "Babysitter Wanted" is available through Time Warner, Comcast, Cox, Charter and Dish Network to name a few. The film will be available next month on DirecTV.

The film is being distributed by horror giant, Lionsgate UK Internationally. "Babysitter Wanted" has smashed expectations for DVD sales and rentals in the United Kingdom. The film was released with Lionsgate's successful franchise "SAW V."

More release announcements regarding "Babysitter Wanted" will be forthcoming regarding the U.S. DVD release. Overall reviews have been stellar for the film and franchise discussions for the title are underway.

The BSEG staff is also preparing to head to the capital of Country Music for the world premiere of "William Shatner's Gonzo Ballet" at the upcoming Nashville Film Festival.

Production partner and star, William Shatner will be at the April 17th screening along with Shatner's, "Has Been," album collaborator Ben Folds. Country music giants Brad Paisley and Kip Brooks will also be in attendance.

IN PRODUCTION NEWS: BSEG is set to begin pre-production on its next two feature projects in early June. Both films will be released by BSEG's in house distribution arm. BSEG is currently distributing numerous titles in various platforms. "The company's library is growing and many more platforms for distribution are opening up for us which will be announced shortly," said BSEG President David Zappone.

Finally, BSEG Games and Animation (BSGA) is moving forward. BSEG Games will soon be available through Big Screen's own gaming site and information on the upcoming BSGA Initial Public Offering will be made available soon.
